Playground
If you're a kid, this is your favorite spot in the park. If you're a parent, this might be your favorite spot too. There are all sorts of things to help kids have fun.
Storm Shelter
We are proud to say that we have one of the largest storm shelters in Beckham County. An underground, 1500 square foot, concrete shelter is available at the front of the park to keep you and your family safe in case of a weather emergency.
Pavilion
Merritt School District
The pavilion is available for all residents and their guests. The pavilion can be used rain or shine. Located next to the kid's playground, enjoy lunch while you watch the kids play or have a bar-b-que with friends or neighbors.
The Merritt School District, located 1/2 mile from the park, includes 2 schools that serve 563 students in grades PK through 12. The district spends $7,529 per pupil in current expenditures and has 15 students for every full-time equivalent teacher. A highly sought after school district just a few steps away.
Natural Gas
Waste Management
All mobile home lots have natural gas connections available. Connections and billing is through Oklahoma Natural Gas.
Electric Power
All mobile home, RV and Bunk house lots come standard with 200 AMP service. Bunk house lots have specialty breakers to accommodate their specific requirements for direct connection. RV lots have 50, 30 & 20 AMP outlets.
In the summer of 2014, we were looking for an ongoing, eco-friendly option to control and maintain the vegetation around our DEQ regulated lagoon. We discovered that goats and ducks would be a great solution so we brought in a small herd. Little did we know at the time that this would not only be successful at achieving our vegetation maintenance goal, but they would quickly become playful park mascots and park pets.
